Egypt have
always welcomed the civilization of many people who came by throw
the years, like the Romans, Persian, Arab, Turks, French and British
, who came with their culture , tradition, food and sweets .
At the time of the Pharaohs, there was a special kind of sweet for
every occasion, which was made at that time from corn, wheat, and
honey.
We can still see on the walls of the old Egyptian temples the ancient
Egyptian sitting in front of a huge cake cut in pieces representing
the kind of sweets he would like to eat in the other world , with
the ingredients used written beside it.
